Cameron Burr - S.V.P. of Corporate Development

Cameron Burr was named Senior Vice President of Corporate Development in July of 2009. Mr. Burr was previously a Partner of The Burr Group, a Connecticut-based investment bank and private equity concern focused on the global transportation industry, including freight and passenger transport, commercial aerospace, and related sectors.

 

Cameron’s experience includes the restructuring of SBS International, a leading provider of scheduling software to the airline industry, providing support services for aircraft leasing transactions, facilitating corporate refinancing, and representing hedge funds on their aviation investments. Before founding The Burr Group in 1992, he was employed at Hambrecht & Quist and Paine Webber as a convertible bond specialist.

 

Mr. Burr received his undergraduate degree in Economics from The University of Texas.  Further study led to a Bachelor’s degree in Business as well as an MBA, both through Nova Southeastern University.
