Marlene Hernandez - SVP Finance, Adminstration and IS

Marlene began working for AeroThrust in 1991 as a Project Leader engaged by an independent contractor to design and implement the company’s information systems, including materials management, accounting, production, and engineering data.  Her efforts culminated in the establishment of AeroThrust’s proprietary information database known as ATIS (AeroThrust Information Systems).

 

As a result of her outstanding contribution to the company through this process Marlene was hired by AeroThrust in 1994 to serve as Controller.  In 1998, she was promoted to Vice President of Finance and Administration, a position that gave her responsibility for Human Resources as well as Accounting.  In 2001, Marlene’s responsibilities were broadened yet again as she was made Senior Vice President of Finance, Administration and Information Systems.

 

Marlene holds a BA degree from George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia and an MBA from Florida International University, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude.
