Jose Leon - AeroThrust Corp. President and COO;

Jose began his career at AeroThrust in 1978, and since that time has proven to be an invaluable asset to the company, having managed a cross-section of departments including shop specific areas such as inspection, machine shop, plating, painting, welding and plasma.  As a result of that experience, Jose was instrumental in developing some of the systems and procedures that separate and distinguish AeroThrust as a leader in the overhaul and repair of JT8D and CFM56 engines.  

 

In 2001 Jose was made Senior Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Business Development, a position he held until 2004, when he was given the responsibility of CFM56 Materials Management and Business Development.   Mr. Leon’s knowledge of internal systems procedures and capabilities provides AeroThrust with one of the must sophisticated Production Control systems in the industry.  

When AeroThrust Capital was formed in 2007, Jose was a natural choice for overseeing this wholly owned subsidiary of AeroThrust Corporation whose primary function is Engine Sales and Leasing.  In March 2009, Mr. Leon was named President and COO of AeroThrust Corporation as well, and as such brings over 30 years of both formal and practical knowledge of industry systems, pricing, and market trends to AeroThrust team.

 

Mr. Leon holds an MBA from Nova South Eastern University.
